Pastor's Notes

Our New Building Project (Aug 11th, 2008)

In our new building program, we undertook to build a new preschool department in the old auditorium and to also add a new elevator to help the second floor Sunday School classes as well as choir members get to the practice room and choir loft.  We then began construction of the new AWANA and recreation building. The building only lacks the final completion of the basketball goals and the gym floor, which should be completed this week (we also buried the outside electrical wiring).  We completely revamped all our Sunday School locations with the necessary changes that were needed.
The children’s department was improved by voluntary work of some of our men on Monday nights.  This work has put us in our best condition for space and future needs.  We will now be able to add new Sunday School rooms to the upstairs part of the old auditorium if need be due to growth.
We have a spacious auditorium that can seat 1200 people including the choir loft and the balcony.  To pay the remaining debt we owe, we have $7000 each month set aside in the budget and our program of $10 each week from our church families  we’ll meet the monthly needs of interest and principle until the debt is paid.  Your prayers, tithes, and love offerings are deeply appreciated.
We love each of you, Bro. Benson
